Finding the right real estate salesperson is an absolute must when buying or selling property. As an investor and former broker (from New York) I needed to find someone who was well versed in all city/state as well as, bank/financing requirements to guarantee a successful transaction. I still thank my lucky stars that after interviewing 4 salespeople, I found Dawn. I definitely agree with another of her clients that she is a ROCK STAR - a well-deserved commendation. Dawn was the consummate professional at all times. When the going got rough (and they could get rough!) Dawn was always the calming force and always 2 steps ahead of everybody. Dawn was a joy to work with. I've referred her to many of my clients and friends but this was my first opportunity to work with her as my realtor. From day one, Dawn was professional, tactful and pragmatic - no fluff talk. We really appreciated that. Once our house was on the market, we received consistent periodic updates on what was happening at the house. We soon received a very good offer. But when the buyers reneged and wanted to add things to the contract that weren't negotiated, Dawn's superior knowledge and expertise came into play and saved us lots of wasted time. Immediately after, we had multiple offers, accepted a great offer, and were set to close. The day before closing, the buyers' loan company hit a snag even after they confirmed loan commitment. Their realtor said it was no big deal and was told us we'd close 2 - or possibly 3 weeks late! No big deal??? Yes, that was a a very big deal to us and we were very frustrated. Once again, Dawn's expert knowledge and negotiation skills saved the day. We closed only 5 days late which was much more palatable than the 2-3 weeks we were told. Dawn could have told us that there was nothing we could do and just be glad the deal was going to close eventually, but she insisted that a contract is a contract and the buyer was bound just as we were - and she was right. It was worth every penny to have her represent us and standing up for our rights as the seller. We had to move immediately to take care of ailing parents in another state. I cannot imagine how this would have been working with a realtor of lesser substance and integrity. We are beyond satisfied with Dawn as a realtor and would recommend her to anyone who is serious about buying or selling a house.
